The male selects his mate by rolling a stone at the females feet. If she accepts the gift they mate.The penguins stand breast to breast They throw back their heads and sing loudly, with outstretched flippers trembling. After that they go on a trek to find privacy. It takes two weeks for them to mate.

Geese

Geese are gay and males form a homosexual bond. At times a female interposes between the gay partners. During the courtship she is quickly fertilised. Then the family of three attends to the goslings.

Hippos

Hippos attract their mates by marking territory, urinating and defecating at the same time. Then the aroused hippo twirls its tail and spreads its slop in every direction. This act gets the lovers together.

Porcupines

Females are only receptive for a few hours a year.  Before intercourse males spray the female porcupine with a jet of urine which can even go up to 7 feet. The female either objects verbally, hits with paws, bites or shakes of the urine. When she is ready she gets soaked in the urine. The quills go relaxed and the male enters from behind.

When a male lynx spider feels the urge, he will captures the female spider ub the beauty of his web and wraps her in the silk. The female starts eating the silk. When the female gets distracted by the feast the male mounts her. He enjoys the intercourse and she enjoys the meal.
