Chinese Crested dogs come in two varieties. The first is virtually hairless except for some hair on its feet, head and tail. The other is called the “Powder Puff” and has a coat of long fluffy hair. Their height is around 12 inches and weight is up to 10 pounds

 These unusual dogs belong to the hound group. They come in white, fawn or red color. Thin, sleek and elegant they are very agile dogs and are good jumpers. They need a lot of exercise. Originally they were bred for hunting and make excellent companions.

 Komondor

 Komondor is a rare dog which can be recognized by its distinct coat. The coat is dense with thick cords. Their name is supposed to have originated from Cuman (Koman) people who once lived near the Yellow River. They were used to guard livestock.Pulipuli_h03.jpg

 

 This Hungarian sheep hearding dog has got distinct traits. It is sturdy and muscular with strands of mop like hair. The hair are very long, dense, profuse, curly and wavy. Their coat may take up to a day to dry. They are excellent watch dogs.Shar-Peihargo-shar-pei.jpgShar-Pei – also known as the wrinkle dog, this breed has a definite physical appearance that sets it apart. The extra wrinkles on the coat require frequent care and cleaning to avoid skin conditions, but the breed itself is generally healthy and adapts well to most living conditions.
