Chihuahuas are know for their absolute loyalty and their fiesty temperament. You would be suprised at the powerful natures of these small creatures. Another unusual feature about them is their interest to get deep into blankets for a snooze. So be careful on this point.

You will find Chihuahuas to be ideal pets, because they are very affectionate. They also learn your commands quickly, so teaching them and training them is not a big hassle. However, they are not recommended as pets for small children as they have a tendency to bite when frightened. Furthermore, a small child should know how to handle a dog of such a size.
